For all you race fans, Superior Door Service was invited to attend the NASCAR Hollywood Casino 400 at the Kansas Speedway on Sunday, October 18, 2015. Superior Door Service is a distributor for LiftMaster, who happens to be a proud partner of The National Fallen Firefighters Foundation (NFFF). LiftMaster used this race as a way to honor firefighters and first responders that risk their lives for the rest of us each and every day. LiftMaster is also a sponsor for car #5, driven by Kasey Kahne.

As a precursor to the race on Saturday evening, Mike and I were asked to join two of our LiftMaster representatives and PR staff for dinner at Jack Stack BBQ on the Plaza. We were also joined by Kacey Kahne himself. What a pleasure it was to visit with him, and come to find out, he’s a new daddy! He was eager to share pictures of his first baby son, Tanner Lee, born earlier that week. Congratulations to Kacey and family!

Now, it’s race day, the fifth Race in the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup. The LiftMaster RV tailgating opened at 9:00 AM, followed by a limited number of garage tours. Kasey Kahne appeared for Q&A followed by lunch. The race began at 1:15 PM for a total of 267 laps/400.5 miles. We all got headsets (compliments of LiftMaster) and once we figured out how to use them, we were tuned in. What a great day for a race. Of course, we were rooting for #5 all the way, but Joey Logano took first and Kacey moved all the way up from his 24th starting position taking 4th place. Not a bad day at the track. If you too are into NASCAR, why not make things more interesting and joining a fantasy nascar league with FanDuel? Create or join your own leagues with friends or thousands across the country.

A big “Thank You” to LiftMaster and NASCAR for a fantastic weekend!
